Why I Created AFP Practice Exams

G’day, my name is Luke and I built this website to offer applicants like yourself, 3x full-size AFP practice exams to help you prepare for and pass the Australian Federal Police entrance exam.

By offering extra practice exams, it gives you the opportunity to build upon your strengths, work on any weaknesses you may have and finally, to take the entrance exam with more confidence.

For any AFP applicant who wants extra practice so they can boost their score on the entrance exam.

As you know, the recruitment process is competitive where recruits are scored and ranked before entering the Merit Pool.

Passing is a must but even better, a higher exam result equals a higher ranking in the pool.

My Experience with the Entrance Exam

This website was created from my experience applying into the Victoria Police. Leading up to the exam, I downloaded the official Acer practice exam (which I recommend every recruit does).

The problem was, Acer only supplies one practice exam and I wanted more practice exams to boost my confidence going into the entrance exam. Unfortunately, there aren’t many other suitable practice options out there. There are loads of aptitude exams but they either;

a) Didn’t have similar questions, which isn’t useful or

b) Weren’t the same length, so it’s not possible to practice time management, which is important or

c) Too expensive.

I ended up scoring 85% on the entrance exam and as a result of my experience, I set out to help any recruit who was in a similar position to me; they wanted more practice exams that were high quality for a fair price.

After creating a series of practice exams (which I don’t recommend anyone do!) that fixed the problems mentioned above, I built the VICPOL Practice Exams website and started selling practice exams. Since then, over 900+ practice exams have been sold.

I have since received a lot of positive feedback about how useful the practice exams have been with one customer mentioning how the VICPOL exams were ideal practice for the AFP Entrance Exam.

Cue light-bulb moment!

The Abstract Reasoning & Written Assessment differs to the VICPOL entrance exam. As a result, I have created specific questions for these two sections based on the AFP Police Info Booklet & the ACER Website, keeping the same level of difficulty.
